Instructions

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and ground ginger.
  3. If a thicker sauce is preferred, dissolve cornstarch in water and set aside.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  5. Cook chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add the honey garlic mixture and bring to a simmer.
  7. Add the cornstarch slurry if using, and stir until the sauce thickens.
  8. Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over to coat well. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
