- 1 lb chicken breast or tofu, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili paste (adjust to taste)
- 1 lime, juiced
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Cooked jasmine rice, for serving
- Optional: 1 cup bean sprouts
- Optional: 1 cup baby corn
- Optional: 1/2 cup cashews or peanuts
- Optional: 1 tablespoon sesame oil for added aroma
Instructions
- Slice chicken or tofu into thin strips.
- Mince garlic, slice bell pepper, and julienne carrots.
- Mix soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and chili paste in a bowl to make the sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add chicken or tofu, stir frequently until cooked through.
- Add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrots. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until just tender.
- Pour in the sauce, toss to coat all ingredients evenly.
- Let simmer for a few minutes to meld flavors.
- Squeeze lime juice over stir fry and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for best results. Keep your pan hot and prepare all ingredients ahead of time. Avoid overcrowding the pan and cut vegetables uniformly for even cooking. Adjust chili paste to your spice preference.
