Ingredients

  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted

  • 1 ½ cups vegan chocolate chips
  • 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • Fresh berries, for topping (optional)
  • Chopped nuts, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a tart pan with coconut oil.
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir in maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla until a dough forms.
  3. Press dough evenly into the tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork.
  4. Bake for 10–12 minutes, then let it cool completely.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine coconut milk and coconut sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture is hot but not boiling.
  6. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  7. Pour chocolate filling into cooled crust and smooth the top.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  9. Top with berries or nuts before serving if desired.

Notes

For best texture, chill overnight. Avoid boiling the coconut milk to preserve the silky consistency. Crust can be doubled for a thicker base.
