- 1 ½ cups almond flour
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1 ½ cups vegan chocolate chips
- 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
- Fresh berries, for topping (optional)
- Chopped nuts, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a tart pan with coconut oil.
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir in maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla until a dough forms.
- Press dough evenly into the tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, then let it cool completely.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine coconut milk and coconut sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture is hot but not boiling.
- Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
- Pour chocolate filling into cooled crust and smooth the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
- Top with berries or nuts before serving if desired.
Notes
For best texture, chill overnight. Avoid boiling the coconut milk to preserve the silky consistency. Crust can be doubled for a thicker base.
