- 1 can (14 oz) coconut cream
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup white rum (or to taste)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or agave nectar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: 1/4 cup shredded coconut for garnish
- Optional: Cinnamon sticks for serving
- Optional: A dash of allspice
- Optional: Vegan whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Gather all the ingredients and ensure they are at room temperature.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the coconut milk and coconut cream. Whisk until smooth.
- Add almond milk, rum, and maple syrup. Stir to combine.
- Incorporate vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Whisk until evenly mixed.
- Transfer mixture to a blender and blend on high for 1-2 minutes until creamy.
- Pour into a glass bottle or jar. Seal and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Shake well before serving. Serve chilled with optional garnishes.
Notes
Use full-fat coconut milk and cream for richness. Let it chill overnight for best flavor. Adjust rum and sweetness to taste. Blend thoroughly for a smooth consistency.
