- 4 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup crumbled vegan feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Optional: 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) or set air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash, peel, and cut potatoes into even strips.
- Soak potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
- In a large bowl, toss fries with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange fries in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet or air fryer basket.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or air fry for 20-25 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Once cooked, top with vegan feta while fries are still hot.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and any optional add-ins.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Cut fries evenly and don’t overcrowd the pan for the best crisp. For oil-free, use high heat baking without oil.
