A sweet and savory Korean twist on traditional garlic bread, stuffed with creamy filling and bursting with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 4 round bread rolls (preferably soft and fluffy)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: Chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, honey, parsley, salt, and pepper to make garlic butter.
  3. In another bowl, mix cream cheese with sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add beaten egg and mix well.
  4. Cut each bread roll into 6 wedges without cutting all the way through.
  5. Fill the cuts with the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Brush the garlic butter generously over the rolls, covering all sides.
  7. Place rolls on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth filling. Don’t cut through the base of the rolls to keep the filling inside.
